Please note, Michigan hunting and fishing licenses are valid from March 1 through March 31 of the following year for the appropriate seasons.

Before You Start

	To make a purchase you will need a valid un-expired Michigan Driver License or State of Michigan ID card (issued by the Secretary of State) or MDNR Sportcard or MDNR ID Card issued from a license agent. Please note you can also purchase a MDNR Sportcard or MDNR ID Card from the E-License system.
	E-License will not store any credit card numbers.
	E-License will not place any permanent cookies on your PC.
	You must have Netscape 4.0 or newer or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or newer to use E-License. Additionally these browsers must utilize 128-bit encryption, which is the highest level of protection possible whenever you use credit cards or make other financial or confidential transactions over the Internet. 	When you use your Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card to shop online, in a store, or anywhere... you're protected from unauthorized use of your card or account information. Click on the Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card logo to learn more.
	Credit card processing is handled through the State of Michigan's Central Electronic Payment Authorization System (CEPAS) system. When paying for your selections you will be redirected to a CEPAS Payment Module page for entry of credit card information. Once the credit card transaction has been completed you will be redirected back to E-License to complete your order.
	You will need a printer to print your receipt and some licenses. Please test your printer now. See PC Needs for Online Buying.
